Why are BMX and Skating Helmets Important

Why should I wear a helmet, it’s not “cool”? Unfortunately, that’s what kids see at local skateparks and even some major competitions. What they’re not realizing is that even a small hit to head with no helmet could cause brain damage, concussions, bleeding, swelling, memory loss and more. Yes, you can still get head injuries with a helmet on, but a helmet will help cushion the blow.  Some kids may not see you as the “cool kid” wearing a helmet, but the truth is it’s smarter. You only have one brain, so don’t waste it and wear a helmet whenever you’re riding your bmx bike, skateboard or inline skates.
